Many businesses can be run and operated out of a home, but using a home address is never ideal for a business. Having a commercial address protects small business owners from having their home address found online. All Mailbox Only Tenants get their own address & suite number. Unlike Mail Service locations like the UPS Store or Executive Suite locations, The Dome on Nisqualli is a regular office building. A potential customer searching for your business or your business address will only locate a regular commercial building, and not see that your business address is just a P.O. Box. Adding to your credibility, works for Google Business Profile (GBP).

What is CBT?

CBT is a practical, short-term form of psychotherapy that helps people identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that negatively influence their behaviors and emotions. It's based on the concept that

Theoretical Foundation: CBT is grounded in the theory that our thoughts (cognitions), feelings, physical sensations, and actions are interconnected and that negative thoughts caused by distress or mental health issues can trap a person in a vicious cycle. For instance, if someone believes they are worthless, they might feel sad or anxious, which could lead to avoidance behaviors, reinforcing their negative thoughts.

Practical Application: Unlike some forms of therapy that delve into past experiences, CBT focuses on current problems and solutions. It's highly structured, with specific goals and time frames, making it an effective treatment for a variety of psychological and psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, eating disorders, and more.

Young Minds: Child & Adolescent Therapy

At Compassionate Bell Therapeutics, we understand that the journey through childhood and adolescence is filled with its own set of challenges and milestones. Dr. Belinda Bell, with her rich experience in developmental psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, offers specialized services tailored for young minds. Here's how we approach therapy for children and adolescents:

Developmentally Appropriate Therapy:

Customized to Age and Development: Our approach varies significantly across different age groups. For the very young, we might engage in play therapy, using toys, games, and art as tools for expression, which helps in uncovering and addressing issues they might not yet have the words to describe. As children grow older, we transition to more direct forms of communication, incorporating storytelling or role-playing to explore emotions and behaviors in a way that feels natural and engaging to them.

Engaging and Interactive:

Traditional talk therapy might not be the most effective with younger clients due to their developmental stage. We focus on interactive and engaging methods that make therapy sessions something they look forward to. This includes using technology like apps for mood tracking, or even virtual reality for exposure

Empowerment: The Heart of Our Practice

Empowerment: The Heart of Our Practice

Dr. Belinda Bell specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to empower clients. This isn't just about managing symptoms or coping with issues; it's about fundamentally transforming one's relationship with one's own thoughts and emotions for lasting change. Here’s how we focus on empowerment in our sessions: Often we can start with, How about a 'New Perspective?'

Empowerment Through Thought Pattern Transformation:

Understanding Thought-Emotion Connection: The journey begins with helping clients understand how their thoughts influence their emotional states. By mapping out this connection, we empower clients to see how altering their thought processes can lead to improved emotional regulation. This insight is empowering because it shifts the locus of control from external circumstances to internal resilience.

Challenging Negative Thoughts: One of the core techniques in CBT is to challenge and reframe negative or irrational thoughts. This process involves identifying cognitive distortions, examining their validity, and replacing them with more balanced and realistic thoughts.

This block of text shall be inserted into a new post (when fixed) titled: A Personal Message From Dr. Belinda Bell

Welcome to my practice. I am Dr. Belinda Bell, currently practicing remotely as a social psychologist with a specialty in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Individuals seeking assistance to elevate themselves in various forms of self-care and self-awareness, and to have a safe space to talk, have benefitted from scheduled sessions filled with compassion and confidentiality. All are welcome in our practice, which operates on a non-discriminatory, bias-free, and exclusively non-judgmental therapeutic platform. We provide services for private clients, couples, groups, and families. Sessions can be scheduled by filling out our Support Form, accessible via the button below.

As a former Clinical Director of several STRTP group homes, where providing crisis intervention, safety plans, and advocacy, was a daily demand, interventions with the youth revealed a greater understanding of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorders and their associated behaviors. Clients found these behaviors becoming a conflict when they were trying to live a positive life or reach targeted goals. In efforts to provide stability for foster youth under the age of 5, our company simultaneously opened a foster facility in Kern County, CA, rescuing abused minors who were given appropriate therapy, stabilized emotionally, and eventually reunited with their birth parents. These missions of supporting our community are only a few of the programs we have offered in the past.

The greatest discovery found during the time spent participating in various therapeutic community service programs was meeting clients within their levels of need and then creating trusted bonds that further enhanced the quality of participants' lives. These Individuals were able to speak about crisis events confidentially and create their own solutions by recognizing the root causes of the dilemma. Once gaining a better understanding of how to reach their goals they became self-sufficient in advocating for resources that changed their futures for the better. Compassionate Bell Therapeutics LLC. Stand firm in the belief that everyone is entitled to reach out when they are in crisis and supportive services will be rendered until the crisis is resolved or resources delivered.

Thank You,

A Personal Message From Dr. Belinda Bell

Thank you for taking the time to reach out and trust the confidential services of Compassionate Bell Therapeutics. You came to me because you needed to learn something about yourself and your life. You weren't sure exactly what it was, but you knew that it couldn't be figured out alone. If you trust me to help you see it in a different way, we can find the missing pieces to the puzzle life has become.

Acknowledgment of Courage:

You were brave enough to reach out to a therapist like me, so it's time I shared my story. Coming from parents born in the Bronx, New York, I was influenced by a diverse culture that includes Afro-Centric-Creo-Puerto Rican highlights. Growing up in the '80s included overcoming various obstacles and adversities, from being exposed to the social and cultural expectations of poverty due to parents' life choices, homelessness, and rejection from a cruel world that labels individuals to make them feel inferior. Reading became my favorite activity as it allowed me to positively escape the traumatic environments presented during childhood. By the age of 7, I was able to read and comprehend most of the Encyclopedia Britannica (our modern-day Discovery Channel) without hesitation. Another positive coping mechanism included listening to classical music and dancing ballet around the house to lighten my emotions when things were not as they should have been.

These activities may not have been acceptable practices within the environment I lived in, but the stories in books allowed me to have the courage to build my own world, "in the midst of chaos." Living in downtown "Skid Row" in the Los Angeles area presented me with great opportunities to learn how to find the beauty in everything by utilizing a humble character. My biggest acknowledgment achieved during childhood was learning how bad it felt to be judged and evolving my personality with the principles that are founded on being non-judgmental/non-biased when communicating with others.

During my teenage years, I vowed to seek a better understanding of how thoughts control emotions, and as a result, I became a better human. Giving myself a fresh start without the memories of childhood not only taught me self-discipline by leaving home at 15 years old but simultaneously working for a fast-food franchise and completing my high school career with hopes of being accepted into the Santa Monica law program. Although I graduated in 1998 and was accepted into my desired college, my lack of finances, transportation, and housing within the Santa Monica area became an even bigger obstacle. Eventually, I changed my career goals into becoming a Registered Nurse and completed the certifications of the Certified Nursing Assistant program, and passed the State Board Examination for Licensed Vocational Nursing, while pregnant with my first-born child in 1999.

During my transition between pursuing a nursing career and becoming a mother, I had various thoughts that caused me to question my ability to accomplish my goals. I learned that the more positive my thoughts were, the faster I reached my goals, as my emotions became focused on a brighter outcome. In 2011, I decided to test my skills and attend Antelope Valley College in pursuit of my Registered Nursing Certification. Challenges presented themselves as I maintained a 3.5 grade point average but had difficulties passing higher-level mathematics, which was required to complete associate-level courses. By utilizing my voice and reaching out to assigned counselors, I received the support I needed to prove that I had the levels of critical thinking required to graduate with an AA in Social Behavioral Sciences.

As I transferred into the California State University Bakersfield Bachelor program, I decided to simultaneously attend a full curriculum of both Sociology and Psychology, as it would allow me to do more than place bandages on patients during their time of crisis. Although I did not receive support or encouragement from my professors, as they doubted my ability to become a Doctor of Social Psychology due to my cultural background and age, I continued to read all the material while listening to classical music, completed every assignment, and was able to gracefully dance across the stage in 2017 with my dual bachelor's degree in both subjects. To fully complete my hours as a clinician, I attended Arizona State University to achieve a master's in social work degree, which would aid in helping clients receive ethical and compliant services, resources, and compassionate support, graduating in 2021. Over the last five years, I have dedicated my services to anyone in need, as I fully learned how to overcome adversity by using my voice.

Be encouraged:

You have made it this far, after all, and you will keep going. Just take one step at a time as we explore the greater perspectives that life has to offer. Our meetings will be confidential, and you have the right to refuse services at any time. Our website will be available 24 hours for crisis resource center personnel to reach out with a solution. Reach out and allow Compassionate Bell Therapeutics to show you how to be encouraged when you have no more hope.
